35th Warman Design & Build Competition 2022 - Transport a Package over a Chasm via Rope

• Contributed to the design and build of a system that transported a package across a chasm via suspended wire rope.
• Collaborated within a team of 5 mechanical and mechatronics students to integrate mechanical and control systems into a functional prototype.
• Supported the mechanical design of the wire transport subsystem through sketches and CAD modelling.
• Assisted with autonomous control design by drafting system flowcharts and logic pathways.
• Programmed Arduino code for servo-driven gripper movement under team guidance.
• Applied the FRDPARRC design analysis tool and helped develop evaluation criteria for system testing.
• Gained exposure to end-to-end engineering design, from concept to prototype, while learning from senior peers.
